Well, I'm crossing the finish line. Thanks for your patience. And also for your passion! I know you guys and girls are chomping at the bit for the next installment, but I also want to make sure it's the best I can do.
Yeah, I'm a bit of a perfectionist.
Anyway, I think you guys will love the poll for the next part. For now, here's a couple preview images!
These renders look awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou do an absolutely fabulous job with lighting.
Looking forward to your release! :-D
Thank you, Kronk! Lighting is, I believe, the most important aspect of making these comics. I want the images to look cinematic, if possible. It's also the hardest and most time-consuming! ;-)
DeleteHoping to see more soon. Your stories are lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, and you will! :)
DeleteLet me be the one that destroys the butterfly's wings and tell you the blog's dead. No new part's gonna ever come out. ):-(
ReplyDeleteYeah, Emory just made a few pages for no purpose whatsoever... >.>
DeleteLook, you're right. A lot of stories, comics and games of this theme never get finished...ESPECIALLY when they're free. These artists work very hard FOR FREE, on their own time between work, and entertainment and family engagements (like Christmas and New Years), the least we can do as viewers/fans is thank them for entertaining us on their time. To do anything else makes you a jerk...and besides that, what's the incentive for him/her to continue their art when their fans just treat them like crap all the time?
The only thing an artist should hear from you is 'Thanks'.
PS: Emory, I'm really sorry for jumping in on this as it's really not my place to do so but these constant negative comments are pissing me off.
Thanks, Kronk. I appreciate the support. :)
DeleteI can't say for sure if Jack & Jill will ever be finished. Who knows what will happen? I CAN say for sure that I have a 100+ new panels for the next part.
And it's my favorite so far!
Do you mean we've being trolled all this time??
ReplyDeleteMan this really pisses me off!! I thought that something was fishy when the deadline was postposed, October, November, then berfore Christmas and now again... I'll stop refreshing the page... very sad...
There was never a deadline, friend. I'm doing this for fun. But it's almost ready.
DeleteWhat does "almost" mean?
ReplyDeleteIt means I have 100 panels done, out of about 105.
DeleteAccording to Wiktionary.com:

Very close to, but not quite.
Kronkkrop, I don't like you. Just so you know. ):-(
DeleteMarcus, Everybody thinks you're a petulant child. Just so you know ):-(

ReplyDelete@Marcus Rost - Please don't comment again. Your comments are strange, negative, unhelpful and unwelcome.
@Emory Ahlberg - Loving your work. You've a large audience who greatly appreciates your work. Carry on as you are, with our thanks. :))
Thank you, Another Anon. :D
DeleteEmory, go to Patreon and let us support your work properly.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that, James. I've been giving the idea a lot of thought. I may just do that because, honestly, I've spent way too much (well over $2,000) working on Jack & Jill and also Witchbreaker.
DeleteSo I may create a Patreon and those who donate will get the material much faster than everyone else. Say, 10 panels at a time vs 100. ;)
Im a big fan of all your work if you go to patroen ill certainly support you.just asking will jnj be this week?😀
ReplyDeleteNo. Told you. Blog's dead.
DeleteStop being negative. If the blog is dead, what are you doing here?
Deletetrying to tell you the blog is dead.
DeleteEmory, I am really enjoying your work and am eagerly looking forward to the next installment. ~Archer
ReplyDeleteThank you, Archer! :D
